The Green Team
The Green Team is Holy Spirit's Recycling Committee. Currently we are focusing on recycling of paper and donating the funds from this effort to the Capital Campaign. We also recycle plastic and aluminum cans and are looking for ways expand these programs in the future. We are hoping to make the primary focus of the Capital Campaign, the Parish Life Center, as green and environmentally friendly as possible.
Cecelia Kenney and Dennis Conley from Holy Spirit's Green Team receive a plaque from an official of Abitibi for paper recycling. The plaque reads "2008 Abitibi Paper Recycling recognizes Holy Spirit Catholic for commitment to paper recycling and dedication to the environmental stewardship 13.6 tons."
