Zsa Zsa’s Hungarian Style Cabbage Soup Ingredients: 1/2 pound of bacon or pork 1 large onion chopped 1-2 cups of chopped tomatoes 1 quart hot water 2lbs of cabbage chopped 2T flour 1t paprika Salt to taste 1/4 cup water 1 cup sour cream Directions: Sauté bacon till done but not crisp. Drain most of grease. Sauté onion. Add chopped tomatoes and hot water. Cover and simmer gently for thirty minutes. Add chopped cabbage and salt. Simmer till cabbage is tender. In a small bowl, combine flour, paprika and 1/4 c. water to make a rue. Add to soup. Add sour cream. Keep stirring and do not cook further.
