August 2007 Delicious Sliced Tomatoes Just when you get to this time of year the back yard garden is over flowing with tomatoes. So this was a great way to use delicious home-grown tomatoes.Ingredients: 2-3 Large tomatoes Olive oil Crumbled bleu cheese Garlic salt Italian seasoning Directions: Slice tomatoes arrange them on a plate. Next take the crumbled bleu cheese and sprinkle on top of tomatoes. Next drizzle olive oil over tomatoes and bleu cheese. Sprinkle a little Italian seasoning on top of tomatoes. Last sprinkle a bit of garlic salt. Let tomatoes sit at least an hour. If you like bleu cheese you will love this recipe!!!
