Recipe of the Month
December 2006 Peanut Butter Blossoms Ingredients: 1/2 Cup Butter 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar 1 Egg 2 Tablespoons Milk 1 teaspoon Vanilla 1 3/4 Cup Flour 1 teaspoon Baking Powder 1/2 teaspoon Salt 40 Candy Kisses Directions: Mix butter and peanut butter, add sugars, egg, milk, and vanilla. Mix Well. Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Blend thoroughly. Shape cookies into small balls the size of a Walnut. Roll them in granulated sugar. Bake in a 375 on an un-greased cookie sheet for 5-8 minutes, until they start to turn brown. Take them out of the oven and gently smash a candy kiss into the center of each cookie. Return to the oven and bake another 3-5 Minutes. The HARDEST part of this recipe is taking the silver wrapper off those kisses. But WELL worth the trouble.
