Recipe of the Month
July 2006 Sweet and Sour Pork Chops Ingredients: 1 tsp ginger 1 tsp salt ½ tsp pepper 1 tsp paprika ¼ cup flour Mix above ingredients together 6 pork chops 1 tbsp shortening 1 cup pineapple juice 3 tbsp vinegar 2 tbsp brown sugar 6 pineapple slices Directions: Coat the chops on both sides with the flour mixture. Brown chops in melted shortening. Pour in pineapple juice and vinegar. Sprinkle with brown sugar Cook over low heat for 40 minutes or until tender. Towards the end place a pineapple slice on the top of each chop.
