< January 2006 Chocolate Cookie Brittle Ingredients: 1 Cup Margarine 1 Cup Sugar 2 Cups Sifted flour 1 Cup Finely chopped walnuts 1 ½ tsp Vanilla 1 tsp salt 1 box semi-sweet chocolate chips Directions: Heat oven to 375 Combine margarine, vanilla and salt. Blend well – add sugar, flour and chips and ¾ cup walnuts. Mix well. Press into un-greased 15x10x1 pan. Sprinkle remaining ¼ cup walnuts over top. Press lightly. Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and break into irregular pieces. Share and enjoy.
