Recipe of the Month
December 2005 Pecan Quick Bars - Chocolate Drizzle Ingredients: 1 package graham crackers 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup butter or margarine 1 cup pecans, chopped 1 teaspoon vanilla 3 tablespoons butter or margarine 4 ounces chocolate chips Directions: 1. Line a 10" x 15" x 1" pan with foil and coat generously with a non-stick spray. 2. Place graham crackers in rows on foil. 3. Bring to a boil ( about 3 minutes) the brown sugar and butter. 3. Remove from heat and add the pecans and vanilla. 4. Pour over crackers and spread until completely covered. 5. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. 6. While the pan is cooling press the nuts into the pan. 7. While cooling the pan make the chocolate drizzle. 8. Melt the chocolate chips & butter. 9. Drizzle over the cooling pan. 10. Cut into bars while still warm. 11. Remove from foil when cooled completely.
